Main themes. True value research. In search of the truth I let the flows of energy go through myself. Then some images come to my mind, figures of two fighting women-gladiator finally had appeared. After finished the artwork became a big research for myself: women started fighting for their equal rights in the 1st century AD – I mean – literary.
Juvenal describes high-status women who appear in the games as “rich women who have lost all sense of the dignities and duties of their sex.” Their self-indulgence was held to have brought shame upon themselves, their gender, and Rome’s social order; they or their sponsors, undermined traditional Roman virtues and values. For me it seems to be a revolution.
The only one note I could find about gladiatrix in art was that in Renaissance art among the pictures commissioned in Italy by King Philip IV of Spain for his Palacio del Buen Retiro in Madrid, there is a series on Roman circuses including a duel between two female gladiators.
My inspiration. I go through my impression of the world, admiring it I feel I’m immortal. My art is a ZIP or RAR archive of everything I see, feel, do, meet and achieve. In the term of ZIP archive I mean, exploring the world I get experience of life, so each artwork is an image of current knowledge I get. Art for me is a non-discretionary fiction of getting more and more sophisticated and complicated.
When I turned 22 I was studying chemical technology and environmental engineering, working at the lab and doing science researches in organic chemistry. Trip to China turned my life upside down: I realized, I am to do arts and then I started in 2019. One month in Beijing upgraded me with the specter of new emotions and thoughts. The magnificent feeling as if I saw and lived my future didn’t leave me.
Besides the everything I feel my art is opening the gates to a new era of fact new realism. I agree with Luke Turner’s “the metamodernist manifesto”, finding very important the impact of “awake” people to the whole world. With the eyes opened widely. I feel responsible to other people to show who they really are, find themselves and turn their life into the arts or science, what is defiantly the same to me, the only valuable and essential subjects of present and future as well (on Mars for example =).
